"As someone who Is new to London and doesn’t know many people, the event helped me to make new and useful connections. I was also given the space to express my ideas and get feedback. This is very important for me to encourage me to manifest my ideas. "

There’s a saying which goes ‘you need to know where you’re coming from in order to know where you’re going.’ To a certain extent this is true! We are, after all, a product of our upbringing and conditioning, and then as we become adults, our social circles and peers. It is these influences that ultimately guide our decision making and choices. And as such, if you are really serious about your financial future and becoming (more) financially savvy, then it is vital that you do the following; - 1.... Read more

Irrelevant of the economic season, good or bad, it is always healthy to have a MOT on one’s finances. We do one for our body, for our car, so why not one for our money? It all makes for a financially savvy and sound foundation in which to grow and create one’s wealth, as a garden for fruitful produce. Thus, I am pleased introduce to the members/readers of ‘Meet N Link, Life UK Financial, a new UK financial service, launched in January of this year, that offers a unique FREE membership in order ...   It is the dawning of a new day, and the new World Cup winner has been exalted to the world: Espana! Congratulations to them, for not only are they World champions but European champions; quite an accomplishment by any means! I mention this because many times when we watch athletes and performers we forget about the ‘business’ aspect of their field. FIFA is the governing body of football but it is also a business; the same as the Olympics, which is why countries clamour to be representat... Read more

Last month I attended the National Achievers Congress event where Robert and Kim Kiyosak, of ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’ and ‘Rich Woman’ respectively, appeared with the rest of the Rich Dad advisors. Listening to them share their stories and advice, especially Kim and Kathy Heasley, was inspiring! And to say it was brilliant is really an understatement! I left empowered by the education and on a mission to make my mark on the world as an entrepreneur! I recently wrote an article on the rise of the en... Read more

It’s Not So NEET To Be A NEET! I recently watched programme on BBC IPlayer called The Return of the Real Apprentices, produced by documentary makers Panorama. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00s5xsn It was based on a case study on four NEETs in Swindon, UK before the recession and after the recession. NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training), is term attached to unemployed individuals under the age of 25 here in the UK. An age group the government desperately wants to get back into emp... What a week for the UK! England got through to the last sixteen; then wimped out of the Germany game on Sunday! What a disappointment! Instead of C’mon England! It will now be C’mon Espana, as well as C’mon Ghana!!! Que pena! And then of course, we had Cameron and Clegg announce the details of the emergency budget last week Tuesday. The cuts announced aren’t only warranted but desperately required in order to slim down our horrendous economic deficit which currently stands at a... Read more

If yes, then the Association of Personal Assistants’ training course ‘The PA as a Manager’ is definitely for you! Are you familiar with the old age adage behind every good man stands a good woman? Well,, I think the same can be said of a good CEO or similar type role, and their PA – male or female. The role of the personal assistant has dramatically changed in the last decade; where once before the requisite skills for a PA solely consisted of touch typing, of at least 55wpm, audio typing and ... In keeping with the theme of the current wealth creation series on my financial education blog - Becoming Financially Savvy, as well as, to coincide with the start of new financial (tax) year 2010 -2011, I thought I would write about the various income models one can use to create wealth.   What Are Income Models? They are the various ways an individual can create revenue. I use the term ‘create’ rather than ‘earn’, because it is not always about earning an income but creating one. ... Read more
